The factory Mazda 2.5T turbo ejector uses a plastic hose connection that can become brittle after years of engine-bay heat. Once weakened, the fitting may crack or snap when the hose is removed, repositioned, or accidentally bumped during service.

The Elite Engineering aluminum replacement upgrades this failure-prone plastic connection without requiring replacement of the complete turbocharger assembly.

Preventative Upgrade and Repair Solution

This aluminum ejector fitting serves two purposes:

• Replace an already cracked or broken factory fitting

• Upgrade the original plastic fitting before heat and age cause it to fail

It is a reliability and durability upgrade not a performance modification. It restores the original system while replacing the vulnerable plastic component with AlSi10Mg aluminum.

Installation Information

The factory ejector is secured with a tamper-resistant bolt that can be difficult to access while the original plastic part remains intact.

Carefully remove or cut away the corner of the original plastic ejector to expose the bolt head. Once accessible, cut a screwdriver slot into the bolt head or remove enough surrounding plastic to grip the bolt with locking pliers.

Take care not to damage the turbocharger housing. Keep plastic fragments and cutting debris out of all open hoses and passages.

A new replacement mounting bolt is included, so the original tamper-resistant bolt does not need to be reused.
